Melloblocco is back!

Europe’s original outdoor bouldering competition and gathering, held just north of Milan in the Val di Mello and Val Masino valleys, has returned. Over 2000 climbers from 27 countries have already registered, confirming that these scenic valleys, littered with high-quality granite blocks, and the event itself, still hold a special place for climbers even 20 years after the first Melloblocco International Bouldering Meeting.

In support and in the spirit of Melloblocco, we invite everyone attending to share their favorite shots taken during the event. Simply upload them to the gallery with the location tag “Val di Mello” between May 8th and May 19th. Everyone who uploads a photo will receive a free 1-month Vertical-Life Premium voucher code, and the best picture will win a special La Sportiva climbing shoe. Beta, ascents and feedback on the boulders in Val di Mello and Val Masino, from climbers like you, can be found here in the database and topos for specific boulders and individual problems can be found on the Vertical-Life app.
